It all begins with an idea.

I'm Cameron Behling, a California-born designer with a passion for clean lines, natural materials, and practical solutions. I grew up in Palo Alto, where my appreciation for well-built homes and timeless design first took root.

In my 20s, I moved to Michigan’s Upper Peninsula to study furniture design at Northern Michigan University. There, I earned my B.S. in Art & Design, concentrating in woodworking and architectural craft. My work has always been shaped by a respect for function and form — inspired by greats like Alvar Aalto, George Nakashima, and Frank Lloyd Wright.

Today, I live in Japan, where I run CTB Design — a remote drafting and rendering studio serving homeowners, interior designers, and builders in California, the U.S., and beyond. I specialize in residential plan sets, kitchen and bath layouts, and 3D visualizations using Chief Architect. Whether you're starting from scratch or refining an existing space, I bring a craftsman’s eye to every detail and a builder’s mindset to every layout.

I believe great design is grounded in clarity — in communication, documentation, and vision. Let’s build something beautiful and buildable, together.
